SLOW PRINT CO-OP
For $20 I'll make six deliveries during a year, of whatever's in season
at the Iota studio. Fresh broadsides, ripe placards, hybrid books, grafted
graphics. Thing is, I do a lot of experimenting and there are always
extras. All fresh-printed on fine paper.
Iota Press now occupies a small shop a few blocks from my home. The added space made more fonts and cabinets possible, as well as an old C & P platen press. Now there’s room for others to work with me on projects and we can have classes in letterpress. There’s a space set aside as a sitting room where writing workshops and other sorts of events & meetings take place.
Classes in typesetting & presswork will start in Fall 2009. Depending on interest, we’ll initiate on-going workshops that enable a small group or individual to design and print their own project. Contact me at iota@sonic.net or 707-823-6152
